Malaysia today recorded 14 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 9,373, said director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
As of noon today, there were four recoveries, bringing the total to 9,083. That leaves 163 active cases.
“Of the 14 new cases, four are imported cases – two Malaysians and two foreigners who had travelled from Singapore and the Philippines,” he said today in a statement.
Six Malaysians and four foreigners make up the cases of local transmission. Three are from the Tawar cluster and one, the Telaga cluster.
“The remaining six individuals involving two Malaysians and four foreigners are from the Lahad Datu cluster.”
There are four Covid-19 patients in intensive care, three of whom need respiratory assistance.
The death toll stays at 128. – TMI
