All three new cases are locally-transmitted.

Of the three, two are foreigners and one is a Malaysian.

One case involved a foreigner from the Pedas cluster.

The remaining two are from the died-at-home (MDR) cluster in Sabah, involving one foreigner and one local.

“(These two cases) are family members of Case-8506,” he added.

Nine patients were discharged today, bringing the total number of patients discharged so far to 8,186, or 95.3% of total cases.

Three patients are in intensive care but none of them require respiratory support.

No deaths have been reported today.
