Malaysia today reported a record high of 61 new Covid-19 deaths, with 711 patients in intensive care units (ICU).
The previous record was set on May 20, when 59 people succumbed to the coronavirus.
Active cases, meanwhile, stood at 60,018, said health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
Total number of deaths nationwide now stands at 2,309. – TTN.
