However, no plea was recorded from Lim after the charge was read out to him before Magistrate L Umma Devi.

The court set Dec 27 for mention.

It was reported that Lim surrendered himself at the Kulim police headquarters at 4.30pm on Nov 19.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Che Zaimani Che Awang had said that a quarrel broke out between Lim and his wife at about 10pm.
The accused then left the house at about 11pm and went back to his family’s home in Kulim.
The next morning, he returned to find his wife no longer breathing.
The couple had been married for 10 years but do not have any children.
