Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) electoral pact with the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) in the 15th General Election (GE15) is considered a “done deal”.

PKR information chief Fahmi Fadzil, however, said there were a few matters they were looking into to be ironed out.

“It’s a done deal and there are key conditions that we are looking into such as seat allocations.

“Once things have been agreed on, there will be some announcements made,” he told reporters when approached after a press conference by PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at PKR’s headquarters today.

Anwar, when asked if PH would form alliances with other parties to form a united front, Anwar said the coalition would focus on Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) and Muda first.

“The application from Parti Sosialis Malaysia to join the pact remains in discussions,” he said.

Yesterday, Anwar confirmed that the coalition has agreed to work with Muda in GE15, pending the ironing out of some details. – NST
