After several postponements since December last year, the auction of luxury cars and 727 personal belongings of celebrity entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida will proceed on 30 October.
According to a public auction notice published in a local English-language daily, the sale is being conducted by creditor AH Design Communication Sdn Bhd against Vida. The action follows her failure to settle an outstanding debt owed to the subcontractor.

Vida, whose real name is Hasmiza Othman, had repeatedly sought to delay the auction, claiming the seized items were borrowed. However, the court dismissed her request after she failed to provide sufficient evidence to support the claim.
The 727 items were seized in a five-hour operation at Vida’s luxury bungalow in Ipoh on 25 November last year. The seizure was made after she failed to pay more than RM1 million in debts to AH Design Communication, a construction contractor, dating back to 2018.
Among the confiscated items are four cars and various household goods, including a Sharp toaster, Coway water filter, dressing table and refrigerator.
The auction was originally set for 9 December last year but was postponed when the Kuala Lumpur High Court granted Vida a temporary stay.
