Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is the latest in a list of top leaders visiting Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in hospital.
The visit took place on Nov 29 at the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital, Prisons Department deputy director (Policy) Supri Hashim revealed.
“As mentioned in reports by experts, Anwar’s health is improving,” he said.
Supri added that Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali had visited Anwar when he was still in Hospital Kuala Lumpur on Nov 27.
Anwar’s hospital room has been busy with visits from Barisan Nasional leaders recently.
Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz visited Anwar on Nov 26, following earlier visits by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Anwar was recuperating in HKL after having undergone laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery to his right shoulder on Nov 12.
