A 17-year-old Canadian teenager was taken to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) today on suspicion of having contracted the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
In confirming this, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dzulkefly said his ministry received information on this today and is currently awaiting a report from HKL.
“We will be in touch with HKL to obtain further information on this matter.
“I was just informed…about the Hazmat (Hazardous Material Unit) team’s involvement in their full suit. The patient was taken to HKL,” he told a press conference today.
Earlier today, several photos went viral on social media showing the Hazmat team and police at Tower 3 of the Petronas Towers, KLCC.
