The Pakatan Harapan (PH) federal government will take action against Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak according to the rule of law.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia deputy president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said any action must be based on the principles of good governance.

“We are all about being a good government. We have to do proper governance. Then we will take him to the court of law and take action according to the rule of law,” he told a news conference at 4am today after BN lost control of Kedah in the 14th general election.
The PH pact, comprising PPBM, PKR, DAP and Parti Amanah Negara, had promised in its election manifesto to investigate the 1Malaysia Development Berhad scandal that is alleged to have resulted in billions of ringgit of state funds being syphoned off.
At the centre of the corruption case under investigation by a number of governments worldwide is Najib, creator of the sovereign investment fund, who had repeatedly denied wrongdoing and who had been cleared of involvement by Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamad Apandi Ali. – Malay Mail
