Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has paid RM1 million of the RM3.5 million bail imposed on him by the Sessions Court at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex bail counter on Friday (Sept 21).
He arrived at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex at 10.55am and left just five minutes later at 11am.

He came with his son Norashman and his bailors Mohd Nizar Najib and Mohd Shahrir Arifin and went to the Sessions Court registry to sign various documents related to the bail application.
After completing the process, he left in a white Toyota Vellfire.
“I have already paid my bail (RM1 million) as ordered by the court yesterday,” he told the press briefly before leaving.
In his latest court case, the former premier was granted bail of RM3.5 million with two sureties after he being slapped with 25 graft and money-laundering charges involving RM2.3 billion.
Najib’s lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah requested that the bail be paid in staggered payments, with RM1 million to be paid on Friday (Sept 21).
He has until Sept 28 to pay up the remaining RM2.5 million.
