Malaysiakini reported that according to a Pakatan Harapan source, Pang Sock Tao will be officially announced tonight at their representative’s service centre in Taman Gamelan, Kuala Kubu Baharu.

The decision was reportedly made last week.

The 31-year-old from Ampang, Selangor, previously worked as a news presenter for Ubah TV, a video channel owned by DAP.

Yesterday, Harapan by-election director Ng Sze Han said 10 potential names were shortlisted and finalised in its top leadership meeting last night.

He mentioned that the shortlist of 10 names includes representatives from the Malay, Chinese, and Indian communities.

The Election Commission has set May 11 as the polling day and this Saturday as the nomination day.
