Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah’s last social media posting was one that spoke of being burdened with despair and disappointment.
“Mati rasa hanya kerana dikecewa dan disia-sia (In despair from disappointment and being let down),” she wrote on July 8 in her last post on Threads (a social media platform), two days before she was reported missing.
However, it is uncertain whether the phrase reflected her true feelings or was simply something she wanted to share with her followers.
A look at her Threads profile revealed that Nur Farah Kartini was quite active on social media, sharing motivational messages and words of encouragement, most recently on July 3.
Meanwhile, a check on her TikTok page showed that her last post was on June 23, where she shared a video recording of herself and some friends riding a speedboat.
The video, which had no caption, is believed to have been made during her recent trip to Pulau Kapas, Terengganu.
The video, which received more than 2 million views, went viral after news of her disappearance was reported by the media.
A check of the comments section revealed it was also filled with condolences and expressions of sympathy.
The body of Nur Farah Kartini, who had been missing since July 10, was found yesterday.
Her body was discovered in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, not far from Felda Gedangsa in Hulu Selangor, at 6pm.
Nur Farah Kartini, 25, originally from Miri, Sarawak, was reported missing after delivering a rental car to a customer near Taman Universiti, Tanjung Malim, Perak.
She was allegedly seen leaving in a red-coloured car after completing the delivery.
