A Sabah politician who has been slapped with five charges of sexual harassment may face further charges, said state police chief Hazani Ghazali.
Hazani said police had completed two other investigations against the politician and businessman under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and for a breach of rules under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.

“Whether additional charges are filed depends on the AG’s office now,” he said after witnessing outgoing acting Kota Belud police chief Mohd Airul Sukri handing over duties to Sahimi Husin, the new district police chief.
