Najib promotes the upcoming launch of the Sungai Buloh-Kajang line with a dig at Opposition.
In a late-night tweet on Monday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak took a swipe at the Opposition by calling the forthcoming launch of the new Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT line the “real Kajang Move”.
As a prelude to the launch of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang line on Jul 17, he posted a picture of a road sign for the new Kajang MRT station on his Twitter account with the caption: “The Real Kajang Move. Coming to you in seven days. #JomNaikMRT.”
With the operation of both the first and second phases of the MRT, 500,000 commuters are expected to ride the train.
The “Kajang Move” was a political strategy in which PKR tried to replace former Selangor mentri besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
However, the move did not succeed and Datuk Seri Azmin Ali eventually replaced Khalid as the mentri besar.
