A woman died after allegedly being thrown from a van along the Kesas Highway on Tuesday (6 May).
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Aidil Bolhassan stated that a witness saw the victim being ejected from the vehicle at approximately 2.30pm near the Awan Besar R&R area. The van was reportedly seen speeding away from the scene.
“The victim was found dead at the scene and her death has been confirmed by the responding medical officer,” he said.
ACP Aidil confirmed the woman was a 44-year-old from Ipoh, Perak, and clarified, “I can confirm that she is not the missing ‘Pamela Ling’.”
A post-mortem examination will be conducted.
