Singapore’s health ministry confirmed today an additional 1,426 cases of Covid-19 infection, a record daily jump that took the city-state’s tally to 8,014.
Only 16 of today’s cases are Singaporean or have permanent residency, the rest being work permit holders residing in workers’ dormitories.
“We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MoH press release that will be issued tonight,” the ministry said.
