The special officer of Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang has filed a police report against a member of parliament, accusing her of making defamatory statements about the DAP leader.
The report was made at the Teluk Intan police station this morning.

Badrul Hisham Badarudin alleges that Dr Siti Mastura Muhammad defamed veteran DAP leader, Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang, by claiming that he had a family relationship with the leader of the Malayan Communist Party, Chin Peng.
“Teluk Intan DAP strongly condemns the statements made by Dr Siti Mastura that are laced with incitement and malicious defamation.
“Siti Mastura also claimed that several other DAP leaders have family relationships with each other, giving the impression that the DAP practices nepotism.
“These statements by the PAS member of parliament, filled with incitement and false accusations, can not only incite hatred, misunderstanding, and suspicion not only towards the DAP but also harm the harmony among the different ethnic groups in Malaysia.
“We advise PAS not to become ‘Parti Amalan Syaitan’ (Party of Satanic Practices) and become an element that destabilizes national harmony,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hilir Perak district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Adnan Basri, confirmed that they had received the report when contacted today.
Previously, through a video statement at the Muslimat and Ameerah P040 Kemaman event in Terengganu on Nov 4, which was uploaded on social media, the Penang PAS Muslimat deputy chief linked Lim Kit Siang, DAP chairman, Lim Guan Eng and his wife, Betty Chew Gek Cheng, along with other DAP leaders, to familial relationships with Chin Peng and Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew
The names of other DAP leaders mentioned by her include Seputeh member of parliament, Teresa Kok, Teluk Intan member of parliament, Nga Kor Ming, and Beruas member of Parliament, Ngeh Koo Ham.
Yesterday, Lim Guan Eng gave Siti Mastura Muhammad until Thursday to provide evidence of her claims about the family relationships with the communist leader, Chin Peng, and former Singaporean Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew.
The Bagan member of parliament stated that the accusations by Siti Mastura are unfounded and that he would take appropriate action if no evidence is presented within that time frame. – NST
