Four to seek re-election as MPs in Selangor, DAP releases list of candidates for 16 state seats.

Former Selangor executive councillor Ronnie Liu makes a return to Selangor DAP’s election slate, with six new faces chosen as prospective candidates for the state assembly.

Ronnie Liu will be fielded in Sungai Pelek. He was formerly state executive councillor and elected to Pandamaran in 2008 but was not fielded in the 2013 general election.

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng announced the party’s slate today, with four seeking re-election as MPs and seven seeking re-election as state assembly members.

The new state candidates are:

  1. Bryan Lai – Teratai
  2. Edry Faizal Yusof – Dusun Tua
  3. Michelle Ng – Subang Jaya
  4. Lim Yi Wei – Kampung Tunku
  5. Jamaliah Jamaluddin – Bandar Utama
  6. Tony Leong – Pandamaran

Lim said the party will contest 16 state constituencies, as before.

Parliamentary seats

  1. Ong Kian Ming – Bangi (renamed from Serdang)
  2. Gobind Singh Deo – Puchong
  3. Tony Pua – Damansara (renamed from Petaling Jaya Utara)
  4. Charles Santiago – Klang

State seats

  1. Ng Suee Lim ­ Sekinchan
  2. Lee Kee Hiong – Kuala Kubu Baru
  3. Eddie Ng – Balakong
  4. Ean Yong Hian Wah – Seri Kembangan
  5. Ng Sze Han – Kinrara
  6. Rajiv Rishyakaran – Bukit Gasing
  7. Teng Chang Khim – Sungai Pinang
  8. V Ganabathirao – Sri Muda (was formerly elected in Kota Kemuning)
  9. Lau Weng San – Telok Dato (formerly in Banting)
