Social media is abuzz with news that former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor are in Langkawi.
Social media users alleged that the couple landed at the Langkawi airport with 30 pieces of luggage on Saturday (June 16).
The Star reported that a source citing an Umno leader confirmed that the couple and their children were in Langkawi, adding that they arrived at 7.10pm.
Reportedly, five Umno leaders met the former premier at a hotel.
Najib and 13 family members are believed to be staying at posh St Regis Hotel in Langkawi for a three-day break.
It is understood that Najib and Rosmah are barred from leaving the country.
