The government will introduce a stricter movement control order (MCO) 3.0 in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Senior Minister (security cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said there will be increased enforcement and more roadblocks mounted.

He said there will also be a significant reduction of people working at their offices with the government set to ensure 80 percent of civil servants work from home.

Eateries and shopping malls will only be allowed to open until 8pm. Opening hours would be at 8am. This also applies to grocery stores, convenience stores, pet food stores, among others.
