An 18-year-old girl fainted and died while she was looking for a job at a mall in Negeri Sembilan on Sunday afternoon.

According to the New Straits Times, the deceased, identified by police as Amiratul Hakimah Ismail, was job-hunting with a friend at Kiara Square mall in Bahau at around 12.30pm.
Apparently, the victim’s parents had dropped her and her friend off at the mall before leaving for a nearby wholesale market to shop for some items.
According to Jempol district police chief superintendent Muhd Nur Hishamuddin Hashim, Amiratul told her friend that she was unwell.
“The victim had told her friend that she was not feeling well and felt like fainting. She collapsed suddenly.
“The victim managed to regain consciousness and was assisted by her friend to sit on a nearby bench before she said she felt like vomiting.
“As she took a seat, the victim experienced difficulties in breathing and fell unconscious once again,” he said.
People who witnessed the incident then called emergency services and paramedics who arrived at the scene confirmed the victim had died.
Her body was sent to Jempol Hospital for a post-mortem and the case has been classified as sudden death.
