Datuk Seri Najib Razak was greeted with birthday wishes when he arrived in court today to attend his corruption trial.
A group of about 50 supporters surprised him with a chocolate cake at the lobby of the court complex here.
Najib appeared startled when the group started to sing him a happy birthday song as soon as he arrived at about 11am.
Najib who turned 66 today said he was thankful before blowing the solitary candle, cutting the cake and taking a small bite of it.
Clad in a blue suit, the ‘birthday boy’ then made his way to the courtroom located on level five followed by his supporters who sang “Allah selamatkan kamu” (God bless you) and chanted “lawan tetap lawan”.
