Singing ventriloquist Darci emerged as the winner of AGT 2017, winning US$1 million dollars and a headlining spot in a Vegas show.
As two young adorable girls – 12-year-old Darci Lynne Farmer and 10-year-old Filipino-American Angelica Hale – stood on the huge stage awaiting the announcement of the winner, the air was thick with nail-biting suspense.
Having become close friends, Angelica promptly ran to Darci, hugging and congratulating her when host Tyra Banks declared the gifted child ventriloquist the champ.
Overwhelmed, the newly-crowned America’s Got Talent (AGT) champion could not stop crying as joyous family members rushed onstage to embrace her.
Consistently impressive throughout the competition, Darci received the coveted Golden Buzzer from Mel B during the audition process, sending the delighted pre-teen straight to the live shows.
She earned the praise of ventriloquist Terry Fator, AGT Season 2 champ, who described her performance in the finals where she operated two singing puppets with distinct voices, as “flawless”.

The duo performed together in the AGT finale, and the former champ has invited Darci to appear on his Vegas show after she is done with her own.
“She is, at 12 years old, one of the most unbelievable, perfect ventriloquists I’ve ever seen, and she’ll only get better,” he said.
Angelica will be joining Darci in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood on Nov 3 and 4 for live performances.
