Former Bersih 2.0 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah’s election manifesto promises dignity for all.

Maria, who will be contesting the Petaling Jaya parliamentary seat under the PKR logo, said that the manifesto was a simplified version of what she has been fighting for all these years.
“It also represents what we can achieve for the country if elected,” she said.
Among the highlights of her manifesto are achieving a clean and fair government; a living wage that will ensure a comfortable standard of life; equality and justice for women; youth empowerment as well as developmental and environmental justice.
To attain the objectives in her manifesto, she said that she would work with state seat representatives from Bukit Gasing, Taman Medan and Seri Setia, which fall under the Petaling Jaya parliamentary constituency.
Maria also said at the press conference at her service centre in Petaling Jaya today that if she won, she would call for a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the election system in the country as well as local council elections.
