An alleged promotion giving away ‘$500’ flight vouchers is a scam, says AirAsia.
The scam directs people to a link and requires them to give their particulars to receive the vouchers.
In a statement today, AirAsia advised the public to disregard such scams and to not click on any links or provide personal particulars.
The low-cost carrier added that it would not be held liable for any claims pertaining to such scams and that it would not hesitate to take action against anyone who organised illegal schemes using the airline’s brand.
It stressed that all its promotions are through its official website or other reliable and authorised channels that it advertises in.
