CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) confirms it has received a request to provide technical assistance to authorities over sex video clips implicating a minister.
Its chief executive officer Datuk Dr Amiruddin Abdul Wahab said they had received the viral video clips and would provide technical assistance as requested by the authorities.

“We can’t disclose more. I don’t want to comment further as it’s a police case,” he told reporters when met at the sidelines of the Cyber Defense Conference on Tuesday (June 18).
Amiruddin said CSM has the needed digital forensics expertise to analyse audio, video and multimedia.
Amiruddin said there was no time frame specified for the task.
“Depends on the case, we are actually the technical agency providing support and based on what is requested by authorities.
“In this context, it depends on the complexity of the case,” he added.
In the past week, clips of a sex video have gone viral, followed by a confession by PKR Santubong Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz that he was one of the two men in the video.
Haziq named Economics Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali as the other man in the video.
Azmin has since denied the allegations. – The Star
