Irwan represented by Rosmah’s lawyers.
Former Treasury secretary-general Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar will be represented by lawyers Datuk K Kumaraendran and Datuk Geethan Ram Vincent in his joint CBT charges with Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
They are also the lawyers for Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor in her money laundering case.
Dev Kumaraendran, Lavinia Kumaraendran and Revin Kumar are also in Irwan’s defence team.
Najib will be represented by Tan Sri Dr Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, along with Harvinderjit Singh, Farhan Read, Wan Aizuddin, Rahmat Hazlan, Muhammad Farhan Shafee and Syariah Hanaplah.
Special prosecutor Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram will lead the prosecution team.
Irwan and Najib are to be charged in the same Sessions Court before judge Azman Ahmad.
Meanwhile, former Malaysian External Intelligence Organisation (MEIO) chief Datuk Hasanah Abdul Hamid, who will also be charged for CBT involving US$12.1 million, has Datuk Shaharudin Ali as her lead counsel.
Her other lawyers are Shaharudin Ali, Mohd Khairul Azam and Imran Khairi Osman.
Hasanah’s case will be handled by Sessions Court judge Rozina Ayob.
