Hong Kong martial arts superstar Jackie Chan’s estranged daughter has claimed she is homeless due to “homophobic parents”.
Chan’s 18-year-old daughter Etta Ng posted a video to YouTube last week with her partner, Canadian social media influencer Andi Autumn, asking for help from the online community.
“Hi I’m Jackie Chan’s daughter and this is my girlfriend Andi,” said Ng in the video.
“We’ve been homeless for a month due to homophobic parents. We pretty much slept under a bridge.”
“We’ve gone to the police. We’re gone to the hospital, the food banks, LGBTQ community shelters, food banks, and all of them just don’t give a s**t. So that’s why we’re making this video because we don’t know what to do at this point.”

Same-sex marriage and civil unions are not recognised in Hong Kong, and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community there continue to face significant social stigma.
Ng is the child of Chan and fellow Hong Kong actor Elaine Ng, with whom he had an extramarital affair. In 2015, Ng told Express that she had “no feelings for him. He is my biological father but he is not in my life.”
She came out publicly last October, posting to her Instagram account that: “After all these years of negativity, living in shame and being afraid of the world I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s easier to accept that I am never meant to love or be loved.” – Asian Correspondent
