A total of 271 Covid-19 cases were recorded in Hulu Langat, Selangor, which has been placed under an Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) since last night.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said of the total, 91 cases are from Madrassah Nabawiyah Batu 24, Sungai Lui.
“We initially recorded 71 cases from the madrassah and the number has since increased.
“Hulu Langat recorded a large number of cases out of some 500 in the state (as reported yesterday),” he told a press conference today.
As of noon, Selangor recorded 60 new cases, bringing its cumulative cases to 672, followed by Kuala Lumpur (24 new cases, 396 in total), and Johor (24 new cases, total 333).
Covid-19 cases for other states are as follows:
Perlis: 1 new case (11 in total)
Kedah: 2 new cases (77 in total)
Penang: 1 new case (88 in total)
Perak: 8 new cases (184 in total)
Negri Sembilan: 10 new cases (172 in total)
Melaka: 7 new cases (50 in total)
Pahang: 3 new cases (99 in total)
Terengganu: No new case (47 in total)
Sabah: 4 new cases (201 in total)
Sarawak: 6 new cases (135 in total)
Putrajaya: 2 new cases (24 in total)
Labuan: No new cases (10 in total)
