Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has been hospitalised after collapsing at his residence early this morning.

The incident happened at about 2.30am when Ismail Sabri suddenly fell while walking to the kitchen, according to his son Nashriq.
“We were hanging out, having a light conversation at home when my father stood up to grab some food.
“He started walking but seemed unsteady before suddenly collapsing,” Nashriq was quoted as saying.
Together with Ismail Sabri’s security escort, Nashriq then brought his father to Sunway Medical Centre Kota Damansara.
Nashriq said his father regained consciousness soon after but was very weak.
Ismail Sabri, 65, is currently in stable condition and recuperating.
Nashriq refuted claims that his father had a heart attack. The incident was suspected to be caused by high blood pressure.
