Najib’s lead counsel, Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, stated that the action concerns Terrirudin’s alleged failure to disclose an addendum order issued by the former Yang di-Pertuan Agong, permitting Najib to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest.

“I have received instructions from Najib to file a contempt of court action against Terrirudin by tomorrow, or at the latest, Friday,” Shafee announced during a press conference at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya today.

Terrirudin currently serves as a Federal Court judge.
