Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at 11am today to present a list of proposed new Cabinet members for His Majesty’s approval.
The new Cabinet line-up is expected to be announced at Muhyiddin’s office at 5pm today.
Since being sworn in as the eighth Prime Minister on March 1, Muhyiddin has reportedly met with leaders of Perikatan Nasional (PN) component members to discuss the formation of the Cabinet.
PN comprises Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pas, and is backed by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS).
On Saturday, GPS announced that it had agreed to be part of Cabinet but will not join the PN coalition.
