Politicians from both sides of the divide have united to sing the classic patriotic song Setia (Loyal).

Politicians from Pakatan Harapan, Barisan Nasional, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB from Sarawak) and Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) showed their vocal prowess in a new rendition of the song first made popular in the 1980s.

Their efforts are captured in a video produced by Astro Awani as part of its Malaysiaku Gemilang series.

Warisan women’s wing deputy chief Jo-Anna Sue Henley Rampas opened the video, and her appearance was followed by other politicians such as Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister Hannah Yeoh and Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.

The 4 minute 30 seconds video showed the singing politicians along with images of Malaysia’s people and beautiful scenery. – The Star
