Epic Fit Meals Co has jumped on the food giveaway bandwagon by offering free burgers to any Malaysian who votes in GE14.
- ‘Halal’ burgers at Epic Fit Meals
- ‘Pan mee’ at Meet Mee

Simply show the indelible ink applied before voting to get a ‘halal’-certified burger worth RM16.85. Choose from four burgers: Chicky Chummy, Fish Chummy, Beefy Chummy and Peri Chummy.
Founder Lai Wick Kee, 29, said the campaign is to encourage all eligible voters to exercise their democratic right, the Malay Mail reported.
“I realised a lot of people around me are not interested in voting. So, I thought to myself, what better way to encourage them than free burgers?.
“It’s the least I can do, and I hope other Malaysians out there can encourage others to vote in their own way,”
the 29-year-old Kelantan native was quoted saying.
The Epic Fit Meals offer is valid at its three stores in Damansara Perdana, Bandar Sunway and Mont Kiara, from 11am to 10.30pm on May 9.
Each voter is entitled to one burger while stocks last.
Yesterday, noodle chain Meet Mee announced that it would give away free bowls of ‘pan mee’ at three of its branches in Desa Setapak, Danau Kota and Sungai Long to voters on polling day.
Klang’s Eng Chun Bak Kut Teh will be serving 500 sets of free ‘bak kut teh’ with rice worth RM5,500 in total at two of its outlets in Taman Berkeley and Taman Sentosa, Klang.
