Authorities close in on JJPTR.

Some 20 officers from various departments, including the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), Bank Negara and the Companies Commissions of Malaysia (SSM) conducted a raid at the head office of JJPTR in Perak Road, Penang.
The media was barred from entering the premises during the raid, which took place at about 12:30 pm today. The team of authorities went up to the first floor of the shop lot, after which police blocked the doors of the office.
According to The Star, police seized documents, a mock cheque and other items in the four-hour raid. Ten JJPTR staff were taken to a police station for documentation purposes.
When asked if the office would be sealed, police said it would not but the office would be closed for the rest of the day.
“You can come back again on Saturday to see if they are still operating,” a police officer said.
Yesterday, Bukit Aman CCID director Commissioner Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani announced that the police had frozen five JJPTR bank accounts.
