PKR will go all out to win back the parliamentary seats that was lost when the elected representatives left the party.

PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said the seats belonged to the party because they were mandated to them by the people.

He said these seats were won in the last general election.

“To friends in Gombak, Ampang, and their alliances, please listen carefully.

“In our election strategy, the constituencies that we will attack the most are those that have been chosen by the people to look after them but they were betrayed.

“That’s the reason why we are focusing on these areas to punish and topple them,” said the Port Dickson MP.

He said this in a mega gathering held last night in Gombak a seat that Anwar said the party is confident of winning.

PKR senior leaders and MPs such as Azmin Ali (Gombak), Zuraida Kamaruddin (Ampang) and nine others left PKR to support a new federal government led by Bersatu in February 2020.

They eventually joined Bersatu, but Zuraida later left to become the president-designate of Parti Bangsa Malaysia. – TMI
