PKR leaders who are still competing against one another, even after the party polls results were finalised earlier this month, will not be endorsed as candidates in the 15th general election (GE15), says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“As the party president, I will not forgive those (delegates) even at branches, divisions, Youth and Wanita wings who still chose to continue competing (after) the party polls.
“If this continues, I guarantee that there will not be any surat watikah (endorsement letters) given to you,” said Anwar during his policy speech at the PKR national congress on Saturday (July 16) morning.
Many had voiced concerns that the party polls might see a repeat of the 2018 elections which saw PKR splinter as a result of infighting between factions loyal to then deputy president Azmin Ali and Rafizi.
